N. Korea threatens war

Wow, it seems North Korea has blown a gasket. If they're threatening war, they must be pretty sure that we're incapable of doing anything about it.

Y'know, I thought we were "drawing down" the number of US troops in S. Korea? Now we know why: So N. Korea can blow the shit out of the South without directly harming any Americans.

I know that this is a very dire situation, and yet I cannot help feeling like there is an element of the absurd to it. All I can think of is the Kim Jong Il puppet in the movie "Team America" singing, "I'm Ronery." It's like he's trying so desperately to get our country's attention, but he's graduated from figuratively humping our collective leg like a boxer puppy to uncorking nukes. I want to laugh and scream at the same time.
