This post (thanks to arian1 for the tip) is very informative about how Iran's political system works. And it helps clarify just how powerless is Amadinejad. If Bush wants war with Iran, he can pretend that Amadinejad has real power; however, the facts argue against that, and our administration is fully aware of who is really in power over there.

Hey, that reminds me: I heard on a recent story that there are between 8,000 and 30,000 armed privateers fighting in Iraq right now. Yowza. But neither the State Department nor the Pentagon will verify or deny those numbers.

We are down for the count tonight but we're on your dance card for tomorrow night, and then all day Saturday or however we work it (TBD tomorrow night). It's supposed to rain this weekend. Insert sad face here.
