This is so cool! Check it out: So far the excavation has turned up 39 ancient shipwrecks buried under nine centuries of silt, which preserved extraordinary artifacts. Here's one:

For just a few seconds, I was thinking ancient SPACEships. Guess that picture reminded me of a scene from Aliens.

Oh, man, that would've been cool! Reminds me of an old SF movie, black-and-white, wherein construction people (I think) find an old, crashed alien spaceship under a city building. They see a movie about how the alien species was destroying itself by war, I think. They looked like locusts, I think.

I want to see that again, but can't remember what it was!
