The Eyjafjallajökull Volcano in southern Iceland has stranded thousands of air travelers across Europe (and prevented thousands of others from returning) because of the massive cloud of volcanic ash spreading across Northern Europe. From a safe distance to someone who isn't flying to Europe, it's gorgeous. Here's what that blooming mountain looks like:

Perhaps the most amazing volcanic eruption ever. What do you think?

Poll #1553212 Eyjafjallajökull Volcano

Is the Eyjafjallajökull Volcano the most amazing volcanic eruption ever?

Holy crap, yes!
12(40.0%)
Meh, I've surfed bigger volcanic floes.
1(3.3%)
Egad, we've angered the Elder Gods!
8(26.7%)
This is a conspiracy by the Secret World Government. Clearly Photoshopped.

Wait, what? Iceland has volcanoes?

Ya know, I"m reading the volcano name the way I read all over-done fantasy names: a little from the top, a little deliberate mistranslation, and voila: this must be the
EYEFUL Volcano.

Wonder when the impacted sunsets/sunrises will make it to our coast?

I wish to complain about this poll.

Also, cats, who must have been responsible for awakening the Elder Gods.

Ticky boxes good, though, so one for three.

Freakin' amazing.

I'm waiting for Albuquerque to erupt into fury.
Did you know there are five dormant volcanoes in the city limits?

Whoah, seriously? Cool! I mean, poor future-Albuquerqueans.

They're only small and have been dormant for thousands of years, but I used to imagine what it would be like if they did pop their tops!

I think it's an incursion of the magical world into our own. Don't you see the face of the Sorting Hat there in the lava? The eyes, nose, and mouth are clearly visible.
