I love thunderstorms.

Only, DUDE, not at 3:00am. A massive thunder-boomer just shook the house so violently that I could hear glasses rattling downstairs, and the walls shook a picture crooked. I gave up trying to sleep a couple of hours ago....

I see that we've been under a tornado watch, too. Cool beans. But I'd have been happier with all this drama about 12 hours ago.

I know exactly what you mean, and I love 'em too! But I'm so damned beat, what with spending 40 hours over the past six days on building the WLT website, alone... along with final grading. Whoof.

Agreed. Plus this: they need to make weather radios with adjustable sirens. You can adjust the volume of the com-pu-ter-ized vo-yees but cannot adjust the siren level. That is not cool at 3 am in the bedroom.

Thankfully, our storm came through at 9 pm last night, so no problem whatsoever.

Hahahaha! That pseudo-Stephen-Hawking voice cracks me up. But the BLEEP-BLEEP of the alarm gets a little tiring.

Oh my. I guess I'm just really good at sleeping through this kind of stuff - although if it starts before I fall asleep, I can't get to sleep.

I wish. Then again, I pretty much never hit the hay until midnight or so, and by then the skies had already been booming for quite some time.

Wow. I must've been really tired. I didn't hear it at all.

Geez, I guess! That was not an isolated incident.

Then again, I feel like ass today, so maybe I didn't rest as easy as I thought.

Think you could go here and help a friend of mine out? I think you might have some good suggestions.
