This is such fun - when WIRED had a contest to get your photo on the cover of a special issue of the magazine, I submitted mine two weeks after the contest started, assumeing mine wouldn't be accepted. I mean, millions of people subscribe, only 5000 would be accepted, and I was already late. So I sent this pic of me with my 1964 Lincoln Continental on the day I shipped it to its new owner, assuming geeky shots would be accepted, not me with a classic car.
But viola! A couple of months later, I got this! Hooray!
PS: If anyone else got this image on their cover (not sure if they made multiples or just one of each to those 5000), let me know.
