Indy Jones wisdom

Y'know, one of the best lines I've ever heard was uttered in the new Indiana Jones movie:

"How much human life is lost to waiting?"

Spoken when it was, it really resonated for me. The movie was much fun, and if you like Indy, you'll love it.

Off to ConQuesT as soon as I finish packing and grabbing stuff for the Charity Auction!

I'm glad to hear something good about the Indiana Jones movie. I've heard a lot of bad reviews, but I still want to see it.

The bad reviews are from people who don't understand the Indy Jones thing *g*

Coolness! I'll see you there (although Lane and I will probably be 8:00 p.m.-ish or later in arriving).

I think we are going to actually get to see the Indy movie. In a theatre! We are even going to one where I can drink martinis while I watch it, that way I can get get a movie night and drinks night packed into one :)

Have fun at ConQuesT! (Or, hope you had fun--depending on when you read this)

I agree! I realized the only reason I was a tinge disapointed with some things was that the previews lined you up for standard serious big blockbuster and took away from the campiness that makes Indy films so much fun. Its high action, quipped lines, and big cheese fun.

Exactly. It's good old-fashioned pulp made for today's audience.
